All Coaches must be registered with US Lacrosse and be or in the process of becoming a level one coach.
Visit www.USLacrosse.org for more details. This registration will provide a back ground check as well as provide an excellent resource of training, practice and game plan material. The Double Goal Coach program is mandatory as it teaches the coach the proper mentoring and leadership skills. Merritt Island Lacrosse Club supports the Double Goal Coach program and, like US Lacrosse, we make this mandatory for all coaches.
MILC is looking for coaches for all levels. Either for the juniors, seniors of high school teams, we are looking for good people who we can train to be great lacrosse coaches.
I urge everyone to find the time to help and volunteer. For me, the rewards of volunteering are invaluable and the chance to help our community is a humbling one. I invite you to help me and experience the rewards of coaching.
