Before registering for anything,
Join US Lacrosse
Before signing up for the season, Each player must be a member of US Lacrosse. This provides the player and the club with insurance. No one will be permitted to register for the season without it. Go to the membership pages of US Lacrosse at: www.USLacrosse.org . About the fifth page into the registration there will be a page asking for the team or club member ID. Look for the Merritt Island Mustangs High School Lacrosse Team, #2887072.
Returning players will be required to renew their memberships by January 1, 2012 even if you have some time left on the membership. Many of you have expiring memberships in January and February. Renew as soon as possible.
We would prefer to receive a check for the season payment in order to save money on the Paypal fees. If you can pay by check, please give the check to Mike or Tina Telesca.
Click on the bottom button that says "Add to Cart" under the line that says USD $250. It will take you to the page that says stuff about code, description, prices, etc. along the top. The button on the far right at the bottom (next to continue shopping and empty cart) says "Order". Click on order, and the next page will say confirm. Hit confirm. There will open up an information page to fill out. Please fill out the entire page, then hit confirm. If you are paying by Paypal, follow the prompts to go to Paypal and pay after you register. If you are paying by check (which we prefer), DO NOT go to paypal and try and pay again (unless you really want to give us more money). Once you submit that registration form, I'll have access to the info and show you as registered.
In addition to registering online, you are also required to complete the following paperwork: Physical, Consent, MIHS Form, and a Transport waiver — and give this paperwork to the team managers (Sidny Ott/ boys and Trish Houston/ Girls)
